Where the mintage began in 1771. Seven die types, reverse dies A101–A797, spanning Altona's production from Wolff's first dies through the large mintage of 1784/85.
The Copenhagen Mint
Joined in 1773 with the «Schimmelmann» coins, backdated to 1771. Eight die types, C101–C897, including the rarest treasures of the entire mintage.
The Kongsberg Mint
The Norwegian chapter, initiated in late 1782 — eleven years after Altona. Three die types, identified by the small dotted rosettes.
