Copenhagen Type 4

Copenhagen Type 4 grew directly out of Type 3 when production resumed in November 1782. The defining change is the “M”, whose middle leg becomes strongly skewed to the left, while the “G” still retains the circular form of the preceding series. Probably struck from late 1782 into early 1783, Type 4 represents a relatively short transitional stage before production accelerated dramatically.
